Corrie Ten Boom, a Holocaust survivor, is credited with saying, “You will never know that Jesus is all you need, until He is all you have.”\u00a0 This Sunday, Lord willing, we are going to introduce the church to a new praise song called Healer.\u00a0 It is such a powerful song because in the chorus is says, “I believe You are all I need…I believe You’re more than enough for me, Jesus You’re all I need.”\u00a0 That chorus reminds me of 2 Corinthians 12:9 that says, “And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness…”\u00a0 There are a lot of people who are hurting in the world today.\u00a0 Unfortunately they turn to many things to make the pain go away, and it may go away for a while, but it always shows up the next morning.\u00a0 If we are going to truly be healed from what has us broken and hurting, we need to look to and rest in the grace of Jesus Christ.\u00a0 Only Jesus can say, “My grace is sufficient.”\u00a0 When He forgives us and takes things away from us, they are gone forever.\u00a0 Healing and hope are not found in a thing, but rather they are only found in the Person of Jesus Christ.\u00a0 Will you believe today the words of the song, “I believe You’re my healer, I believer You are all I need, I believe You’re my portion, I believe You’re more than enough for me, Jesus You’re all I need?”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
